Not sure what problem you're having. I make Apex Launcher the default or whatever one you prefer and then I go into the apps folder and add. I repeat the renaming process every time Nox is updated. Never had that revert back to their launcher, how to stop nox from downloading apps.

Install a new launcher I suggest Nova Launcher and then disable Nox's default launcher. If necessary, do root on the app, it's worth it. I've figured out this "solution" by myself and it has been working so far.
